Great teams don’t happen by accident. They are crafted.
Chris Davies
We often hear the old adage ‘there is no ‘I’ in team’. I disagree. A team is formed by individuals, each having their individual strengths and weaknesses. Their individual personalities and traits. Their individual representation systems and maps of the world. Individual contributions create team results. There are then individual teams in organisations. The team begins with the leader who inspires and models desired behaviour through communication and interpersonal skills.
My approach works with teams to craft a team that focuses on first identifying individual attributes and then crafting a team identity with shared values and beliefs, continuous improvement and driven results. Whilst many trainings may offer GEMBA, or 3M, or practical tools, I offer a Kaizen Mind training using my understanding of applied behavioural psychology, and ontological coaching*, to team needs.
