Quitting smoking doesn’t easily happen overnight. But it can be incredibly easy when you follow a specific process that removes your need to smoke.

Several years ago, a client came to me with the desire to ‘stop smoking’. Over twenty years they had successfully failed to ‘give up’ smoking. Usually, cold turkey attempts were made in January, or after a period of winter illness. Then following the failure, they felt a failure, only to put themselves through the same process again and again, getting the same result, again and again. I wasn’t surprised, because their subconscious association with smoking was too powerful for the conscious effort to ‘give up’ something that they actually were using as a stress relief, and as an established behavioural habit. Together we applied my coaching approach using NLP, CBT, and Eriksonian hypnotherapy.  Within six months they had completely stopped smoking. To my knowledge they are still ‘breathing freely’.
